Remarks – Recommended Use of SACC Item

Use the following clause in bid solicitations when all bids submitted must 
include separate sections.  These sections will normally include a technical bid 
and a financial bid, but may also include a management bid or other sections.

Contracting officers may delete "management bid" and add other bid sections, as 
appropriate.

Use the following clause only if the medium complexity (2T-MED1) and higher 
complexity (2T-HIGH1) templates are not used.

Legal text for SACC item 

1.     Bidders must provide copies of their bid in separately bound 
       sections as follows:

       (a)    Technical Bid (_____ hard copies) (add "and ____ soft copies", 
if applicable);
       (b)    Financial Bid (_____ hard copies) (add "and ____ soft copies", 
if applicable);
       (c)    Management Bid (______ hard copies) (add "and ____ soft 
copies", if applicable); 
       (d)    ___________ (______ hard copies) (add "and ____ soft copies", 
if applicable).

2.     Prices must not appear in any other section of the bid except in the 
       financial bid.
