Standard Acquisition Clauses and Conditions (SACC) Synopsis

The Standard Acquisition Clauses and Conditions (SACC) synopsis is a summary of the changes that were introduced in the current Standard Acquisition Clauses and Conditions. The synopsis is identified by a version number consisting of four digits representing the calendar year and a sequence number. For example, "Version 2012-1" identifies the first release for the calendar year 2012.

SACC Synopsis Version 2022-3

The Standard Acquisition Clauses and Conditions (SACC) Manual was updated in support of CanadaBuys Notification 001: Updated Standard Instructions 2003ACB for use in CanadaBuys (SAP Ariba). See CBN-001 for more information.

SACC Synopsis Version 2022-2

The Standard Acquisition Clauses and Conditions (SACC) Manual was updated in support of Policy Notification 152R1: COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. See PN-152R1 for more information.

SACC Synopsis Version 2022-1

The following revisions to the Standard Acquisition Clauses and Conditions (SACC) are included in Version 2022-1, dated May 12, 2022.

Section 3 - General Conditions

This change is to update the terms of type of documentations to Intellectual property infringement and royalties in the following clauses:

Section 5 – Standard Procurement Clauses

Subsection 5.A: Instructions to Bidders / Contractors

A3081T - COVID-19 vaccination requirement certification - was modified to correct a repetition (French only)

A9038T – Optional site visit - was modified to correct a spelling error in Option 2 (English only)

Subsection 5.C: Price

C0300C: Cost Submission - Contract Cost Principles 1031-2 - Erroneous expiry date removed from clause. Please note that this is not a substantial change and therefore this clause has not been given a new effective date.

Subsection 5.D: Delivery, Inspection and Acceptance

D5510C: Quality assurance authority (Department of National Defence): Canadian-based contractor - was modified to reflect current updates to the contact information to the Quality Assurance Representative list of locations for work.
