Remarks – Recommended Use of SACC Item

Use the following clause in contracts for the Department of National Defence (DND) with European Union-based contractors to define DND's military packaging requirements for militarized items which are not covered by another Canadian Forces commodity packaging specification (see D3016C) or commercial packaging (see D3018C).

Legal text for SACC item

The Contractor must prepare item number(s) _____ for preservation and packaging in accordance with NATO Marking and Packaging Standards as contained in the latest issue of TL8100-0100 and must be packaged to a minimum packing level C.
