Remarks – Recommended Use of SACC Item

Use this clause in requests for proposals (RFPs) for the procurement of the apparel goods that are listed in Annex A of Policy Notification (PN) 132. It requires the bidder to provide the name, address and country of manufacturers, subcontractors and suppliers to be utilized in the performance of the contract. This clause also informs the bidder of the requirement to publicly disclose the country or countries of origin. Providing this information in the bid documents is a mandatory requirement of any bid document and is also a condition precedent to the award of any contract.
