Introduction
The purpose of Policy Notification (PN)-87U is to update the authority limits for Construction and Architectural and Engineering Services.
Background
Temporary authority limits were provided for Construction and Architectural and Engineering Services in support of the Accelerated Infrastructure Program. These limits are in effect from April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2011. On April 1, 2011, new approval and signing authority limits will come into effect and will require new delegation forms for all positions requiring Construction and Architectural and Engineering Services authorities. Any new procurement or procurement in progress as of April 1, 2011 must use the new limits.
Effective Date
This PN is effective immediately.
Revisions to the Current Policy
Approval and Signing Authority Limits for Construction and Architectural and Engineering Services have been revised and replace the temporary limits put in place for the Accelerated Infrastructure Program. The revised limits are effective April 1, 2011. Annex A contains the changes to the Supply Manual.
