Update on the call to suppliers

The Government of Canada’s call to suppliers for online submissions is now closed and we are no longer receiving submissions.

The Government of Canada received more than 26,000 unique submissions, from both Canadian and international businesses. The electronic submission form requested information about businesses and about the goods and services they can offer to support the Government of Canada’s response to COVID-19. Goods must meet the Specifications for COVID-19 goods.

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) has a dedicated team of procurement specialists who are assessing all responses. In an effort to expedite the contracting process to procure life-saving personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical supplies, our primary focus is on suppliers who have all of the necessary specifications, certifications, and licenses to import, sell, and distribute PPE and medical devices in Canada.

We have contacted suppliers who can meet identified requirements. Please note, however, that this does not mean every company that has submitted a response was contacted by our procurement specialists.
