Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: N/A - P&A/LOI Only Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Operational Clothing & Footwear Consolidated Contract (OCFC2) Industry Days 1.Purpose. The Department of National Defence intends to implement a managed clothing solution through a third party provider for military operational clothing and footwear. The initiative is known as the Operational Clothing and Footwear Consolidated Contract (OCFC2). The goal of Industry Days is to provide a overview of the background, proposed scope and plan, and schedule for the initiative to interested vendors. It will also provide the opportunity for industry to seek clarification and provide feedback to the Government of Canada. 2.Format and Schedule. Industry Days will take place in Ottawa commencing at 9:00 AM on 27 January 2014. The format will include a series of detailed briefings and a display of the clothing and other items that are proposed to be included under the initiative. Afterwards, there will be a series of optional one-on-one question and feedback sessions (QFS) scheduled between Government and Industry representatives for interested vendors. These are set for 45 minutes each in duration. The venue for OCFC2 Industry Days will be the Carling Campus facility in Ottawa at 3500 Carling Avenue. Driving directions and a map can be provided upon request.
