INSULATOR SERVICES
This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Quebec Region.
Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Canada free trade agreements with Chile/Colombia/Honduras/Panama, Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement.
Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.
Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid per institution.
Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide insulator journeyman and apprentice services, which include but are not limited to : the supply of the labour, tools, and when requested by the CSC, materials, special equipment and disposal to perform insulator journeyman and apprentice services.
Objectives: Perform inspection, maintenance, repair and work insulation for the various institutions in the Quebec Region, which include Laval Complex, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines Complex, Cowansville Institution, Donnacona Institution and Marcel-Caron Correctional Community Centre (CCC), Drummond Institution, Joliette Institution and Laferrière CCC, Martineau, Ogilvy, Hochelaga and Sherbrooke CCC, La Macaza Institution and Port-Cartier Institution.
Deliverables: The Contractor must provide various task that include, but are not limited to, installation and repair of thermal insulation systems, removal and disposal of existing insulation, installation of rigid or semi-rigid liners on piping systems, encapsulation of coatings and finishes, etc. For more information, please refer to the Technical Requirements section of the Specifications.
Term of Standing Offer: The term of the Standing Offer is from the award until August 31st, 2020 inclusively.
