VRPROG2014 - ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE BASE PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 14/15 VRPROG2014 - ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE BASE PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 14/15, Valcartier Garrison (QC) ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE BASE PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 14/15 VALCARTIER GARRISON AND RELATED SATELLITE SITES (WITH SECURITY REQUIREMENTS) Purpose of this Advance Procurement Notice This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of potential projects with anticipated security requirements to provide interested Contractors/Consultants an opportunity to apply for security clearances. Note that there is no guarantee that these projects will proceed. Description of the Program The program may include, but is not limited to new construction for DND’s infrastructure, renovations and modernization of Department of National Defence (DND) infrastructure, demolition and removal of DND’s infrastructure in support of Canadian Forces Operations. Additional technical services supporting the program may also include, but not limited to design study, drawings and specifications, land surveying, materials testing, geological and environmental studies. Overall program value is estimated at $ 8 000 000, with the contract value generally ranging from $5 000 to 1 000 000$ and the maximum value of any individual project could reach $5,000,000. Description of the Services The program will consist of construction projects that may include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: • Improvement to the petroleum products Storage tank • Improvement to the venting system and roof space • Aqueduct replacement • Building a chlorine reservoir room • VC-615 refurbishment • Masonry wall rehabilitation • Sprinkler system installation • Water supply system improvement • Heating system replacement • Condensate line replacement • Woodworking shop upgrade • Power supply and distribution replacement • Window replacement • Fire engine replacement It is anticipated that the procurement for these projects will be initiated in the period of August, 2014 through March 31, 2015. This is conditional on the project receiving approval to proceed by DND. Security Requirements For this contract, Contractors will be required to hold a valid DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION SCREENING (DOS), issued or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Process Contractors that do not meet the stipulated security requirements and that are interested in submitting a bid for this procurement can apply for the security clearance through the Industrial Security Program (ISP). This can be done by following the procedure on DCC’s website at the following link: http://www.dcc-cdc.gc.ca/english/contractors_consultants.html.
