The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a total of 24 Body Worn Video Cameras. Up to three (3) contracts may be awarded as a result of this Request for Proposal.

The RCMP has been researching this technology for a number of years and conducted pilot tests of the Body Worn Video Cameras in 2010 and 2013. The RCMP is currently conducting a study to determine the feasibility of implementing Body Worn Video Cameras for front-line officers.  A larger, competitive procurement may be conducted depending on the results of the feasibility study. 

All quantities are to be delivered to Depot in Regina, Saskatchewan. 

There is no Security Requirement associated with this requirement.

This requirement is subject to AIT.

The successful bidder will be determined based upon the lowest priced, technically compliant proposal.

The Crown is asking for a delivery date on or before September 30, 2014.

Delivery will not be within a Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement areas.

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
