Description
To effectively accomplish its mission of providing and maintaining a safe environment for RCMP employees, the RCMP is seeking proposals to acquire an X-Ray scanning device for scanning mail and parcels up to a maximum size of 615 x 410 mm and a Maximum weight of 30 kg. The objective of X-Ray screening is to scan incoming mail and parcels for devices and substances that may constitute a danger to RCMP personnel. The contract would also include a maintenance and training component. Requested delivery is prior to March 31, 2014. This requirement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade. There is a security requirement associated with this requirement. INQUIRIES: All inquiries of a technical nature and all questions of a contractual nature are to be submitted to the Contracting Authority: Jennifer Legere at jennifer.legere@rcmp-grc.gc.ca. Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. The estimated cost of this procurement is under $ 100, 000.00.
