Legal text for SACC item

  1. Welding must be performed by a welder certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) for the following Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standards:

    Instruction to contracting officers: insert a. or b. or both as applicable.

    1. CSA W47.1 (current version), Certification of Companies for Fusion Welding of Steel _____ (insert division level);
    2. CSA W47.2 (current version), Certification of Companies for Fusion Welding of Aluminum ______ (insert division level).
  2. Before contract award and within _______ (insert number of days) calendar days of the written request by the Contracting Authority, the successful Bidder must submit evidence demonstrating (insert "its" or "its and its subcontractor's" or "its subcontractor's") certification by CWB in accordance with the CSA welding standards.
