The Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP) aims to help Canadian businesses by testing their innovative goods and services within the Government of Canada before taking them to the marketplace. More specifically, the Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), Office of Small and Medium Enterprises (OSME) has a requirement to procure
- Research and Development (R&D) innovative goods and/or services, also referred to as "innovations", that are in late stage development; and
- support services such as installation, training and testing support services for the pre-commercialized innovations procured for the federal government.
The following links provide information that will help suppliers understand the specifics about the Program.
Suppliers that are planning to submit a proposal should visit the Submit a Proposal section of the Web site. This section outlines the certifications and requirements related to the program.
