Description
Description: The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) has a requirement for Consultant to provide technical assistance to support the implementation of the Support for a Professional and Inclusive Police in Haiti (SPIP) Project. Additional information related to the requirement is detailed in section 4, Terms of Reference.
The Support for a Professional and Inclusive Police in Haiti (SPIP) Project will contribute to 3 of Canada’s 6 Feminist International Assistance Policy action areas: (i) gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls, (ii) inclusive governance, and (iii) peace and security. By strengthening the HNP’s institutional and operational capacities, the project will help stabilize the country politically and socially, and maintain peace and public safety in a fragile country, which are essential to sustainable development in Haiti.
The purpose of this notice is to invite formal costed proposals from eligible Consultants. Based on proposals received, one Consultant will be invited to negotiate a contract with DFATD for the provision of services. DFATD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received.
The amount allocated to this contract will not exceed twelve million five hundred thousand Canadian dollars (CAN $12, 500,000) excluding applicable taxes.
The anticipated contract duration is five (5) years.
WORKING LANGUAGE OF THE PROJECT
The working language for this project is French.

Proposals should be presented following the instructions provided in the Request for Proposals document to be obtained through the GETS on the Internet (https://buyandsell.gc.ca ). Please note, DFATD does not send out Request for Proposals directly to interested Bidders.
