GCaccounts Registration

Access to the Tender Management Application (TMA) or the Standing Offers and Supply Arrangements Application (SOSA App) requires users to have a valid identity on our GCaccounts platform. With the latest version of GCaccounts, users are able to access our applications with other internet browsers such as Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome.

There are two types of registration:

  • Self-registration: allows you to create your account on your own time, before reaching out to gain access to our applications. This is only available to Government of Canada employees, with a valid myKEY.
  • Invited registration: requires you to contact your department's account manager and request access for your desired Buyandsell Application. This option is available to use with valid myKEY or GCKey credentials.

How to register with a myKEY

Self-registration stream

1. Navigate to GCaccounts In order to initiate self-registration you can navigate to the GCaccounts entry page. Once there, you will be presented with a number of login options.

You will also be able to initiate the self-registration process when trying to access TMA or SOSA App for the first time.

2. Select myKEY Underneath the myKEY heading, select the blue button with the same text, to begin the registration process.
3. Select certificate and click “OK” A prompt with your myKEY certificate will be displayed, select the certificate and then click “OK” to continue the registration process.
4a. Confirm account details You will be taken to a page where you can confirm the accuracy of existing account information. Ensure that the given information is correct before proceeding to the next step.
4b. Select validation email In the “We need to validate your email address” section, you will need to select the email address associated with your myKEY from the drop down menu.
4c. Submit validation email After all account details have been verified, click Send Validation Email button. You will be taken to a confirmation page upon successful submission.
5. Locate the validation email You will receive a validation email to the chosen email address. The subject line of the email will read “GCaccounts email validation / Validation de l’adresse de courriel associée au compte ComptesGC”.

6. Validate your email by clicking the link Click on the hyperlinked instruction text in order to finish registration.
7. Request permission for access to TMA In order to gain access to TMA, permissions must first be granted by your account manager. If you do not have an account manager, or you do not know who your account manager is, please contact us at our Achatsetventes.Buyingandselling@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca.

2. Locate Invitation Email Once your account manager has initiated the registration process, you will receive a validation email to the email address specified. The subject line of the email will read “GCaccounts Enrollment / Inscription à ComptesGC”.

If you have not received an email within 2 hours, please check your spam folder or contact us at our Achatsetventes.Buyingandselling@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca.

3. Click Verification Link Click on the hyperlinked instruction text in order to begin the account creation process.You will be presented with a number of sign-in options in a new browser window.
4. Select myKEY Once at the sign-in screen, underneath the myKEY heading, select the blue button with the same text, to begin the registration process.
5. Select Certificate and Click “OK" A prompt containing the myKEY certificate that is currently being used will display, select the certificate and then click “OK” to continue the registration process.
6. Access application Your account registration is now complete. You will be able to access TMA or SOSA App, based on the initial request for access. When visiting the appropriate application page, you will be asked to log in with your newly created account.

How to register with a GCKey

Note: Any user can create a GCKey, however users are unable to self-register for a Buyandsell account using GCKey. The following is a guide that outlines how to register with your GCKey.

Your account manager will collect the necessary information in order to begin registration.

At this time, your account manager may also provide you with a PIN required for Step 5 of the registration process.

4. Sign in to your GCKey account Our applications use GCKey to validate your identity. You will need to sign in to your GCKey in order to complete registration.

If you do not have a GCKey, please see step 4b.

4a. Sign in to your GCKey account Sign in to your GCKey account and proceed to step 5.
4b. Create a GCKey Click "Sign Up" to create a GCKey. Once you have created your GCKey, you will be automatically taken to step 5.
5. Enter PIN Once logged into your GCKey account, you will be prompted to enter a verification PIN. The PIN is needed in order to link your GCKey to our GCaccounts platform. You can obtain your PIN by contacting your department or organization's account manager.
6. Enter user details Once your PIN has been validated, you will need to enter additional user information to complete account setup.
7. Access application Your account registration is now complete. You will be able to access TMA or SOSA App, based on the initial request for access. When visiting the appropriate application page, you will be asked to log in with your newly created account.
