October 2, 2020 - Ottawa – If you are a registered supplier with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), you can expect to receive an email (titled PSPC's New Procurement Tool / Nouvel outil d’approvisionnement de SPAC) this fall, inviting you to register for PSPC’s new online procurement tools through the CanadaBuys, website. Even if you do not receive an email, you are welcome to create your free SAP Ariba account at any time through the CanadaBuys, site.

CanadaBuys, is a new suite of online procurement services that use SAP Ariba, a web-based tool that allows businesses to view and bid on opportunities with the Government of Canada. The email from PSPC will invite suppliers to visit the CanadaBuys, website where they can learn about creating a SAP Ariba account and registering for the new procurement tools.

The Government of Canada is continuing to make all tender opportunities available on Buyandsell.gc.ca, Canada’s government electronic tendering service. What’s new is that some tender opportunities on Buyandsell.gc.ca will redirect to SAP Ariba, where businesses will be able to view tender opportunity details as well as bid online.
