The Department of National Defence (DND) requires the supply, delivery and maintenance of one (1) non-developmental Commercially Available, Off-the Shelf (COTS) Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer (MAFT) for annual Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) recertification and qualification of Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) personnel, in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standard 1003. The contract will be in place starting on the day of contract award, through to November 30, 2020. Training will occur from the months of May through November. Training will occur at various DND locations throughout Canada. DND will provide transport of the MAFT amongst these locations. Service and repairs at these various locations, however, will be required, as necessary.
