Telephone No. - (306) 241-1152 ( ) Fax No. - (306) 975-5397 ( ) For the purposes of this procurement, Canada is acting as AGENT for the British Army Training Unit Suffield. The British Armed Forces Training Unit (BATUS) at Canadian Forces Base Suffield, in accordance with the solicitation documents, has a requirement for the provision of all materials, equipment, labour, accommodation, supervision and expertise necessary for British Military to conduct a horseback riding Adventurous Training (AT) programme. The period of the Contract is from 01 April 2017 to 31 March 2018, inclusive. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extendthe term of the Contract by up to one additional option period(s) under the same conditions as follows; 01 April 2018 to 31 October 2018. The Work will normally be conducted during the period of 01 May to 31 October of each contract year. Bidders' Conference A bidders' conference will be held at the Harry Hays Building in Calgary, Alberta on 17 February 2017. The conference will begin at 10:00 MST, in the Carstairs conference room. The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference and questions will be answered. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or send a representative. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the conference to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the name(s) of the person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table no later than 14:00 CST on 15 February 2017. The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services. Full details of this requirement and the Statement of Work are available with the Solicitation document.
