Tenderers should note that Attachment contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure. Work Description: This Contract covers the following work at the Mission Medium Institution, new inmate canteen in the building M, 8751 Stave Lake Street, Mission BC V2V 4L8. .1 Remove existing furniture and equipment from the scope area to a designated area within Building M to facilitate demolition and construction. .2 Demolish existing storage room and vestibule partitions and associated building components as indicated on drawings. .3 Salvage or dispose demolition debris according to specified procedures within. .4 Construction new canteen and vestibule with few site improvements such as a new canopy and metal railing. .5 Relocate few specified equipment from existing canteen room in Building A to the new canteen room in Building M. Optional Site Visit: 1. There will be an optional site visit on March 4, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. PST. 2. Address of the site visit: 8751 Stave Lake Street, Mission, BC. 3. Instructions: Bidders are to meet at the upper parking lot in the double wide white trailer on the left hand site of the road. Personal safety gear in the form of high visibility vest and safety workboots are required for access to the site. No cameras or cell phones are allowed during the site visit. 4. Interested bidders are required to communicate with the Contracting Authority, Tian Lam at email@example.com or (604) 363-7968 no later than 24 hours prior to the site visit and bidders conference to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing via email, to the Contracting Authority, the names, telephone and email address of the person(s) who are attending. Delivery Date: The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within sixteen  weeks from the date of contract award. Estimated Value: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $100,001.00 and $500,000.00 (GST included).
