Canadian Food Inspection Agency, has a requirement for a contract that consists of but not be limited to the following: Work under this contract comprises of mechanical and electrical work for the removal of an indoor water cooled chiller and replacement with new water cooled chiller located at Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) Charlottetown on 93 Mount Edward Road, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Completion of the work is May 31, 2013. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for CFIA Job# PI036/3000407073 forming part of the bid document. Interested bidders are to meet at Canadian Food Inspection Agency Laboratory, 93 Mount Edward Road, Charlottetown, PE. The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted. Standard bid and contract security for construction is required. Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the MERX services provider. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the MERX provider. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
