Trade Agreement: NAFTA / CFTA / FTAs with Peru / Colombia / Panama / Korea Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Explosives-Narcotics Detector W0135-192951/C Lamorie, Cindy Telephone No. - (613) 687-6655 Fax No. - (613) 687-6656 This Request for Proposal (RFP) cancels and supersedes previous RFP number W0135-192951/B dated 29 November 2019 with a closing of 13 January 2020 at 2:00pm EST. The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the supply and delivery of one (1) IONSCAN600 desktop explosives-narcotics detection instrument, or equivalent form, fit and function in accordance the provided Technical Specifications for 22 Wing North Bay. The instruments must be based on Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS), utilizing dual mode (simultaneous narcotics and explosives) analysis for a sample. epost Connect service This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder Instructions, and Part 3 entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, of the bid solicitation, for further information. Suppliers are asked to submit their questions, comments and inquiries regarding the Request for Proposal by fax, mail or email, if they wish. Questions should be sent by fax to 613-687-6656 or by email at cynthia.lamorie@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca. Suppliers may request a debriefing on the results of the Request for Proposal process. Suppliers should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the Request for Proposal process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person. Please be advised that the Kingston and Petawawa Bid Receiving Units are temporarily closed and unable to accept hard copy bids for this solicitation. PSPC encourages submission of bids using ePost where possible.
