Note 2: Amendment 003 contains the Minutes of Meeting for the Bidders Conference and resulting questions & answers. Line 1, DND R&O Small boats The Solicitation Closing date is March 31, 2020. The Department of National Defence (DND) requires the services of a Contractor to provide inspection, repair and overhaul (R&O), test & trials, disposal, shipping, and transport as well as maintenance, engineering support and storage on an as-required basis for Small service boats: Inflatable Rubber Boat (IRB) and Rigid (Hull) Inflatable Boats (RIB). The period of the Contract will be from the date of contract award to May 31, 2023 inclusively with the options to extend by three (3) additional one (1) year periods The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). In order to be declared responsive, Bidder's proposal must, to the satisfaction of Canada, meet all mandatory requirements of the Bid Evaluation Criteria; which are evaluated on a simple pass/fail basis. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated overall average rate will be recommended for award of a contract.
