The maximum email file size that Parks Canada is capable of receiving is 25 megabytes. The Bidder is responsible for any failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of the emailed bid due to file size.

Emails with links to bid documents will not be accepted. Bid documents must be sent as email attachments.

REQUIREMENT

During the winter months, the park requires assistance with plowing and winter sanding when it snows

and/or when icy conditions exist. This plowing and winter sanding is required to maintain a high level of

health and safety for employees and the travelling public. The specific roads for this winter highway

contract work are Hwy #4, approximately 21.8 kms and Wick Road approximately 3 kms.

Period of Contract

The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31, 2023 inclusive.

Option to extend the term of the Contract by up to five (5) additional one (1) year periods: April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024 inclusive, April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, and April 1, 2027 to March 31, 2028 under the same conditions

ENQUIRIES

All enquiries of a technical and contractual nature are to be submitted to the Contracting Authority.

Enquiries regarding this bid must be submitted in writing and should be received no later than seven (7) calendar days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.

INFORMATION

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
