Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) at Research Road, Beaverlodge, Alberta has a requirement for a company or individual to provide a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to provide labour, parts and material, tools and equipment, transportation and supervision for Heavy Duty Mechanic services on an "as and when required" basis.

The Beaverlodge Research Farm is one of many AAFC Research Centres across the country.  The Research Farm owns a number of agricultural field equipment used in various Research Programs for AAFC, Alberta Agriculture, and privately funded research programs. Services of a mechanic are required in order to ensure safe and effective use of the equipment under these programs. 

The mechanic services include (but are not limited to) repair and maintenance of agricultural field equipment as detailed in the RFP document, Appendix B. AAFC anticipates an award of a Standing Offer by July 1, 2015 for One (1) year with an Option to Extend for up to two (2) option years.
