Legal text for SACC item

In conjunction with and pursuant to the provisions of clause J-74, the 
Contractor may, within 110 days after date of shipment of the supplies, 
inform CCC project officer, in writing,

       (a) that the Contract unit prices are subject to upward adjustment; 
       or

       (b) that the Contract unit prices are subject to downward adjustment; 
       or

       (c) certifying that there is no decrease in the Contract unit prices.

If the appropriate U.S. Bureau of Labour indexes are not available to meet 
the above time frame, the Contractor must apply to CCC for an extension of 
time. 

The Contractor's request for an upward adjustment or downward adjustment 
must be supported with copies of the applicable U.S. Bureau of Labour 
indexes. An information copy of the claim is to be sent by the Contractor 
to:
