Remarks – Recommended Use of SACC Item

Use the following clause in bid solicitations for marine requirements when docking, maintenance and alterations of a government vessel and approved unscheduled work are required.

Use this clause in conjunction with B4029C.

Legal text for SACC item

The requirement is as follows:

  1. the docking, maintenance and alterations of the Department of __________(insert the department's name) vessel _________ (insert the name and vessel designator) in accordance with the Requirement at Annex _____ (insert additional annexes that contain additional specifications, if applicable).
  2. any approved unscheduled work not covered in the above paragraph (a).
