Introduction

The purpose of Policy Notification 103 (PN-103) is to update the instructions to contracting officers on the process to acquire goods and services when there is an emergency requirement.

Effective Date

This PN is effective immediately.

Background

This PN is being published to clarify the process that applies during an emergency situation.

Revisions to Current Policy

In addition to changes to existing sections of the Supply Manual, this PN introduces a new section on emergency requirements. Please refer to the "Affected Supply Manual sections" below to consult these sections.
