The Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) replaced the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) on July 1, 2020. Canadian procurements are not subject to any procurement obligations under CUSMA.

New business opportunities from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) are now featured on

Since Canada is a member of NATO, Canadian companies are eligible to bid on many of these opportunities.

The NSPA procures CAD $6 billion (EUR 4 billion) worth of goods and services annually on behalf of NATO nations.

Canadian businesses currently provide approximately 1% of the total value of goods and services procured by NATO through the NSPA.

In order to increase the visibility of these international business opportunities, Public Services and Procurement Canada, in collaboration with the Department of National Defence and Global Affairs Canada, has made it easier for Canadian businesses to find NATO opportunities by having them available on Canadian companies will be able to view and easily access at least 500 new business opportunities annually, each of which is valued above CAD $120 000.
