December 11, 2017 - Gatineau - Public Services and Procurement Canada's (PSPC) Marine Services and Small Vessel Sector (MSSVS) in cooperation with Industry Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) and Department of National Defence (DND), is hosting a series of Marine Industry consultation workshops across Canada to:
- inform and shape National Strategies for the Federal Government's Sustainment (which includes repair, refit and maintenance and in-service support) and Small Vessel Construction (vessels with less than 1,000 tonnes of displacement) requirements that better meet the needs of industry and government; and
- collaboratively explore opportunities to streamline and modernize the procurement process.
The next scheduled consultation workshops will take place on January 23 and 24, 2018 in Halifax. Please read the Request for Information Regional Marine Industry Consultation Workshops - Halifax (MCMO-002) for full details on these workshops.
How to participate
To attend one or both days of the Halifax consultation workshops, interested suppliers from the Atlantic provinces must complete and submit the online registration form before January 8, 2018. Register now as space is limited!
