September 14, 2017, Gatineau — Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) will host an information session on an upcoming business opportunity to modernize and operate the district energy system that provides heating and cooling services to over 80 buildings in the National Capital Region, including the Parliament Buildings.
This modernization is being managed through the Energy Services Acquisition Program (ESAP) and it will be delivered through a Public-Private Partnership. The Request for Qualifications was published on August 31, 2017, inviting interested parties to present their qualifications to carry out the extensive modernization. The information session will cover the scope of project, the procurement process, the structure of the partnership, commercial and legal considerations and the main permits and security requirements.
