May 12, 2016, Gatineau – Are you looking for a quick and easy way to find information on active standing offers or supply arrangements (SOSA), or to find out when they expire? The new Snapshot of SOSA data makes it fast and easy to find just what you are looking for!
The quick search snapshot also helps you find information focused on the good and service and the procurement tool’s start and expiry date, rather than a result focused on the pre-qualified supplier. You may use plain-language search terms and filter your result by region and agreement type to find the right procurement tool for your industry.
Why use SOSA data?
If you are a supplier, you can use the information about standing offers or supply arrangements to learn more about the firms you may be able to partner with or what the government is buying. Knowing the expiry date for a standing offer or supply arrangement for your industry’s good or service means that you can do some advance research to prepare for future bid opportunities.
If you are a buyer with a non-federal government jurisdiction (provincial, territory, municipality, school board or hospital) you will soon be able to benefit from our procurement tools and purchasing power. Find out what arrangements are in place for the goods or services you need to purchase and when they are scheduled to be renewed.
