Bidders should refer to the delivery instructions in the solicitation documents for alternative ways of submitting their bid or use a courier company to ensure timely delivery.
Section 07 (2012-03-02) Delayed bids of the Standard Instructions - Goods or Services - Competitive Requirements of the Standard Acquisition Clauses and Conditions (SACC) Manual, item 2 states: "Misrouting, traffic volume, weather disturbances, labour disputes or any other causes for the late delivery of bids are not acceptable reasons for the bid to be accepted by PWGSC."
