February 5, 2021 - Ottawa - Are you a business or government department that requires access to goods or technology with a military or national security significance? If so, you have to register in Public Services and Procurement Canada’s Controlled Goods Program in order to lawfully examine, possess or transfer controlled goods in Canada.
The new Controlled Goods Program Roadmap is designed to guide you through the 8 steps in the registration process and highlight the Program’s compliance requirements.
The Roadmap will provide you with additional information about the Program and will help you find out:
- if you need to register in the Program
- what is required to apply for registration
- how to maintain compliance with the Program
To learn more about controlled goods, how they are regulated and what this may mean for you or your organization, visit the What are controlled goods page. For general inquiries, visit Contact the Controlled Goods Program.
